My blog posts are meant to be helpful for those who are also on the creative journey and for anyone interested in the back story of some of my pieces.
I grew up in central California, with a brief few years in Austin, Texas before settling in the Bay Area (San Jose/Morgan Hill) for most of my adult life. My husband and I spent 4 years in Yokohama, Japan and have lived in Oakhurst, California between Bass Lake and Yosemite National Park since 2016. All of these different locations have filled my heart and mind with images I long to re-create. I could paint from the reference photos of these places for the rest of my life.
My goal in life is to add to the beauty that already exists. To Live (be fully alive), Create and Connect with others hoping to do the same. I first search to discover and then appreciate this beautiful world in my day to day life and on our occasional worldwide excursions.
